The team will gather background information and utilize various assessment tools to test the child’s developmental level in all areas.

Areas that will be assessed include: cognitive development, physical development, including vision and hearing, communication development, social-emotional development and adaptive development. The evaluation will consist of 2 or more qualified personnel from different disciplines who have expertise in child development. The qualified personnel all have advanced degrees, New York state licenses and or certifications in their area of expertise.
